Masks are encouraged for anyone not vaccinated, immunocompromised and high risk individuals.
You can request that your therapist wear a mask and your therapist can also request you wear a mask during the treatment.
Body Kneads uses healthcare grade cleaning products and we have air purifiers with HEPA filters in each room. Addtionally, our tables and face rests are covered with washable plastic covers.
Anyone working at Body Kneads will not come to work if they are sick or will wear a mask. We ask that you cancel your appointment if you are sick or wear a mask during your treatment.
Scheduling an Appointment:

If client is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian is required to stay in the treatment room for the duration of their first appointment. If the client is under 16 years, of age a parent or legal guardian is required to stay in the treatment room for the duration of every appointment. The parent or legal guardian will need to fill out our 'Massage on a Minor - Consent Form'.
Cancellation Policy:
A cancelled/rescheduled appointment with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 50% of the cost of the service.
A "No-Call/No-Show" for a scheduled appointment will be charged the full amount of the scheduled treatment price.
Payment Policy:
All clients are asked to confirm their first appointment with a credit card, regardless of final payment method.
We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
Refund policy: In house credit only. This applies to any unused portion of a package or gift certificate. The unapplied money can be used toward any Body Kneads purchase.
Gratuities are not included and may be given at your discretion.
We cannot accept FSA/HSA cards but we can give you a receipt to submit for reimbursement.
Gift Cards/Gift Certificates:
Never expire. The recipient is responsible for paying the difference if there are any price changes.
All donated gift cards will expire 1 year from the date on the gift card/gift certificate.
Your Appointment:
Arrival:
Clients are asked to arrive 10-minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
Clients who are NEW or who have not received treatment for over ONE YEAR will be asked to fill out Intake Paperwork.
We regret that late arrivals will not receive time extensions and will still be responsible for the full payment of your treatment.
Please refrain from wearing any perfume or cologne.
During Your Treatment:
You and your massage therapist will review your intake form and create a treatment plan at the time of your appointment.
Your massage therapist will ask you undress to your comfort level and leave the room while you get on the table.
During your treatment, you will be draped with a sheet and blanket. Only the body part being worked on will be undraped and then covered when the massage therapist is done working the area.
Always tell your massage therapist if any technique applied is uncomfortable or hurts.
Jojoba oil is generally used during the treatment. You can bring your own oil/lotion if you prefer.
Aromatherapy is available upon request.
After Your Treatment:
Your massage therapist will talk with you after the treatment. They may have recommendations for you and they can answer any questions you might have about what you felt.
Drink plenty of water. Hydration is important for all your body systems.
Book your next session to continue with your treatment plan.
A day later, you may experience soreness if an area was worked deeply. If you have any questions, call your massage therapist.
